Microsoft Security Architect - Azure/ Defender/ Purview/ CISSP- £120K
Job Description
Hawksworth are now searching for a talented, Senior Microsoft Security Architect. This is a senior post so we do need tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect.

The role:
Ideally hybrid working from Belfast OR Tampa or Chicago OR remote from the UK with travel to meetings when required.
Salary: £100 - £120k
Must have significant tenure as an Architect, background in IT / Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, Microsoft Defender etc. Good with Threats, mitigation, breaches.

The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will provide technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of the firm's M365 environment. The architect will develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of the firm's M365 applications.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure M365 environment for the firm
Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies in the firm.
Act as SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365

The Microsoft Security architect we are looking for needs to be well versed and experienced in Azure cloud technology and migration so that they can immediately bring benefit to the firm’s Azure cloud adoption, and act as a leader not only to the security team but to other technical teams in the firm.

It would be ideal if your also knowledgeable in AWS, GCP. Security wise you will be knowledgeable in CASB, CSPM and IAM, SIEM etc.

Required Skills & experience:
Tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip client
Strong Azure experience
Experience of a Cloud Adoption project
Computer Science Bachelor’s degree
Good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
Some AWS and/ or Google cloud platforms
CCSP and CCSK preferred
Experience of CISSP, SSCP, CRISC or CGEIT would be beneficial
Experience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is preferred
Working knowledge of SOAR concepts and toolsets
Authoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles such as VPN, segmentation, WAF, access control, CASB.
Working knowledge of encryption technologies

Network Security Engineer - 6 months - London - Hybrid - £550 - £650pd
Job Description
A leading investment Bank are looking to hire a Contract Network Security Engineer for their Uk headquarters. Contract inside IR35, 6 months initial contract (extensions expected), hybrid working (x3 days in the office per week), Central London location (Bank/ Liverpool St area).

The job:
This Contract role is available due to the number of projects coming up and the team downsized last year. This post would suit a Network Security Engineer/ Network Architect. Really looking for 7+ years’ experience, hands on change experience, design, deploy modifications with major routing protocols, network security experience.
Some duties are review and tighten firewall policies and standardise firewall objects, execute or oversee change implementation. Create detailed documentation for offshore teams to refer support, ensure hardware models and firmware versions of the network security devices are to standard, troubleshooting- diagnosing and resolving hardware/software and other network & system problems, participate in incident resolution, plan and raise changes within acceptable maintenance windows and present the changes.

Requirements
At least 7 years’ experience in network security within a financial environment.
Must have previous experience and excellent knowledge of Fortinet products.
An understanding of Cisco ISE and NAC.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and routing protocols.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure hardware.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.
Results orientated / Delivery focused.

Desirable
Exposure to low latency technology and market connectivity
Experience of working with third party vendors and network circuits.
