About our role
Our client is a well-established name in the insurance industry, committed to making healthcare simpler and more accessible. With over 1.3 million customers, they are the largest health insurer in Belgium, operating as a socially engaged non-profit organization that reinvests in its employees, services, and society. They actively support healthcare startups and focus on providing quality services that meet their members’ needs.
For their Data, Analytics, and Automation (DAnA) team, they are looking for an experienced Data & AI Transformation Manager to lead business teams and strengthen stakeholder relationships. If you are passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights and driving data-driven decision-making, this role is for you.
What you will be doing
Define the department strategy and align data strategy with company objectives, ensuring that business and technical goals converge.
Collaborate cross-functionally within DAnA and with other departments to create smoother workflows, knowledge-sharing opportunities, and effective communication strategies.
Prioritize initiatives within DAnA based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic importance.
Coach and develop three team leads, fostering a productive and structured work environment.
Work with HR to define recruitment and talent retention strategies for the department.
Set the strategic direction for defining and managing the department’s budget.
Act as the key representative of DAnA in strategic meetings and workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational developments.
What you bring
At least 5 years of experience in a management role.
10+ years of experience in analytics, customer insights, strategy and management consultancy, digital transformation, or technology.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, support, and develop team members.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including understanding needs and managing expectations.
Ability to set a long-term vision and align team efforts with organizational goals.
Proven experience in change management.
Business management acumen with a strong understanding of organizational operations.
Experience in defining data strategy is a plus.
Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).
