You will be in charge of managing the Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems hotels in Africa to achieve the company’s objectives in terms of operational excellence, superior financial performance, talent management and ESG leadership.

You will be based in Casablanca and will report to our Chief Operating Officer for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems.

You will be an Ambassador for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems brands in the region. In this role, you will represent La Maison in different forums, to develop visibility, notoriety and results for our brands.

You will be an active participant in the development of new Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems projects and renewal of existing hotels.

Here Are The Main Missions You Will Be Performing

Manage and develop corporate relationships with owners, owning companies, investors, asset managers and hospitality advisors existing and new.
Manage and direct General Managers within the region, through open and transparent communication. Ensure close proximity to the field. Enbody La Maison values and ensure this expectation is shared with hotels.
Pilot the overall performance of hotels within the region on financial and extra-financial priorities, including but not limited to reputation, ESG and compliance. Provide regular reporting on each aspect as required by the Chief Operating Officer. Ensure performance goals and plans are in place for each hotel to achieve the annual budget targets. Conduct regular reviews with GMs to ensure KPI achievement.
As guardian of each brand in your region, you ensure the operational processes and standards of the brands are respected in each hotel and implement action plans to achieve compliance where needed.
Develop and implement business strategy planning to reflect the short, medium- and long-term business goals of La Maison Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems in the areas of Network Growth, Hotel Results, Fees, People, ESG supported by the mobilization of the regional central recourse functions.
Oversee operational strategic project(s) from conception, implementation and delivery across a variety of topics.
Accompany and support the Development Strategy for the region, including sourcing and actively supporting new hotel developments, open and commercial ramp up of new hotels, and renewal of existing agreements as part of the lifecycle management process, including as needed the property improvement planning.
Represent La Maison Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems at regional events and industry advisory groups, develop partnerships and visibility in accordance with the objectives of each brand in the region.
You will be supported by our global and regional team as well as team members based in Casablanca (including currently a PMO, commercial director and HR manager).

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

You are a leader with a track record of at least 5 years in hospitality operations on a regional role in Africa and at least 10 years of experience as hotel General Manager in the region.
You are fluent in written and oral French and English.
You are able to manage complexity and operate with a high level of autonomy.
You have a demonstrated ability to lead and drive outcomes, of anticipating issues to implement creative solutions. You demonstrate an inspiring and motivating leadership. You are collaborative, results driven and highly organized, with a strong commercial & financial acumen.

Le Groupe ACCOR refond son système de distribution de produits hôteliers, en se concentrant sur une architecture basée sur des API, la migration vers le cloud, et l’adoption de meilleures pratiques d’ingénierie.

L'équipe « Offre NGA & Capacités Fondamentales » recherche un Tech Lead pour superviser l'évolution du service Offre et accélérer l'adoption des pratiques d'ingénierie.

L'équipe est composée d’un Product Owner, d’un QA, et de 2 à 3 développeurs.

Environnement technique : Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD (GitLab, GitLab CI)

Votre Mission

En tant que Tech Lead, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans cette transformation, avec les responsabilités suivantes :

Mettre en œuvre le principe "vous le construisez, vous gérez" pour assurer la qualité et la fiabilité du service en production, y compris la gestion des astreintes.
Concevoir et développer des solutions techniques robustes et performantes adaptées aux besoins du projet, en utilisant des technologies telles que Java, Spring Boot, Kafka et MongoDB.
Guider et encadrer l'équipe de développement sur les meilleures pratiques d'ingénierie, incluant TDD, les revues de code, le pair programming, et le refactoring.
Définir et surveiller les métriques de qualité et de performance du code, et mettre en place les outils de mesure et de suivi nécessaires.
Veiller à ce que les choix techniques soient alignés avec l'architecture globale du système et les besoins métier.
Réaliser une veille technologique et proposer des innovations pour optimiser l'expérience utilisateur et augmenter la valeur produit.
Participer activement aux processus agiles de l'équipe en collaboration avec le Product Owner (PO) et les autres parties prenantes.

Qualifications

Et vous ?

Vous avez minimum 6 ans d'expérience en ingénierie logicielle, architecture, dont 3 ans en tant que Tech Lead ou rôle similaire, avec une expertise sur AWS, Terraform et CI/CD (GitLab, GitLab CI).

Expérience confirmée dans des environnements fortement contraints (fort trafic, haute performance, grande volumétrie de données).
Bonne connaissance des méthodologies agiles et des pratiques d'ingénierie (une expérience en Innersource est un plus).
Capacité démontrée à diriger, organiser et prioriser efficacement tout en résolvant les problèmes de manière proactive.
Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais (à l’oral comme à l’écrit), avec une approche axée sur les données et un fort esprit d'équipe.

Job Description

As a Cluster Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) packages and services to corporate clients and business groups. Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue across MICE, business groups, sports, and entertainment segments.
Proactively identify, develop, and convert new leads across the hotel cluster through prospecting, networking, and client outreach.
Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate, agency, sports, and entertainment accounts, maintaining regular and meaningful engagement.
Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Prepare and present professional proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to prospective clients.
Conduct regular client meetings, site inspections, and sales calls to maximise conversion and account growth.
Maintain strong pre- and post-event communication to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Support the MICE and Groups Sales Team during peak periods with enquiry handling and event conversion.
Organise and support marketing activities such as Famtrips, site visits, ALL loyalty evenings, trade shows, and client events.
Represent the hotel cluster at key external networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to build brand visibility and business connections.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to remain competitive and identify new prospects.
Maintain up-to-date CRM records, tracking all client interactions, leads, and booking pipelines accurately.
Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, conversion rates, and client satisfaction goals.
Collaborate on ad-hoc sales projects and initiatives as assigned by the Cluster Sales Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role related to MICE or Corporates in the hotel industry – MICE Preferential
Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills - A strong team player
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience in the following systems desirable: Opera Cloud, Delphi FDC, and Lanyon/Cvent
Fluent in English - spoken & written.
