Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to take on a leadership role within our client's DevOps team, driving technical excellence and infrastructure optimisation. You will be responsible for the architecture, costing, management, and scaling of AWS-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stack, while supporting AI and data engineering teams in building NLP and ETL pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead DevOps projects, provide guidance to junior engineers, and establish best practices to streamline deployment, automation, and infrastructure management processes.
Architect, implement, and optimise AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.
Use Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and version control, ensuring compliance and repeatability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, to ensure robust integration testing on committed code and efficient deployments.
Build, manage, and optimise Docker containers for our services and Kubernetes clusters to support services architecture.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana, Loki, and other tools to enhance visibility, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Leverage Python and Bash scripting to automate processes, configurations, and infrastructure management.
Partner closely with AI engineers to support NLP pipeline development and data engineers to streamline ETL workflows, ensuring infrastructure supports data and machine learning requirements.
Create and maintain clear documentation on DevOps practices, infrastructure, and workflows, championing transparency and continuous improvement.
Perform monthly cost reviews on AWS infrastructure working across the team to remove obsolete services & suggesting optimisations and savings plans where appropriate

We are searching for a Full Stack Developer who will be crucial in driving the development of high-quality internal and external portal applications. This role involves working within a team of 7 developers to help manage increasing demand from both internal and external stakeholders. With a significant backlog of development projects across various departments, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and support the team in clearing and delivering on these requirements effectively.


Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver full stack solutions for both internal and external stakeholders
Work on internal development projects requested by departments such as Transport, Operations Picking and Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Care
Support the design, development, and maintenance of in-house web applications
Manage and improve the integration between various ERP systems and bespoke business applications

Job Description

Job Profile:
We are looking for a strategic and visionary Contract Head of Service Delivery to oversee our customer services and service desk operations, ensuring we consistently exceed customer expectations. This role will manage a Service Delivery Manager and a Technical Manager, and be responsible for implementing and optimising ITSM systems, specifically Halo, to enhance service delivery processes.

Responsibilities:
Execute and drive the strategic vision for service delivery, aligning with company goals.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of customer services and the service desk, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to the Service Delivery Manager and Technical Manager while acting as a point of escalation.
Implement and optimise ITSM systems (Halo) to improve service delivery processes.
Lead recruitment efforts for new positions as they become available.
Monitor service performance metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth integration and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Skills/Experience:
Proven experience in a senior service delivery role, preferably within retail or QSR sectors.
Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) systems and successful system implementations.
