Our client is seeking a GPU Software Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Cambridge or London. The successful candidate will design and evaluate features for 3D graphics APIs like Vulkan and DirectX, focusing on performance and use cases for current and future GPUs. The role includes guiding hardware and driver roadmaps and communicating new technologies to stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Design and develop new features for 3D Graphics APIs. - Investigate and evaluate features and improvements for 3D Graphics APIs. - Draft new API extensions and write specifications. - Prototype interface changes and proposals. - Propose changes to GPU architecture. - Perform performance analysis of proposed changes. Requirements: - Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. - 5+ years of experience in GPU software architecture or driver development. - Strong programming skills in C++. - Hands-on experience with one or more of the following API's: Vulkan, OpenGL ES, Metal, DirectX11 or DirectX12.

Brief: We are currently looking for a skilled and innovative QA Software Test Engineer with experience in the mobile handset field. The role is also comprised of project managing. The candidate will be expected to liaise with various teams in our department to ensure deadlines are on track, to communicate testing scope and share important test documents Responsibilities: Quality assurance end user testing on live networks. Flashing test software on test equipment. Ability to capture and upload various logging files. Defect Management. Raising and managing software related issues. Mobile Software tests – Interoperability tests, Network Infra, IMS testing & New feature tests Market VOC feedback and reporting. Contributing to regular progress and test reports Provide informed feedback on interface usability and phone design concept. Individual management of test schedule / projects assigned. Running and set up of automation testing. Testing new AI features added to our devices. Testing and analysing new features of mobile devices and network. Technical Requirements: A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any related discipline (an equivalent period of industrial experience may be substituted) Strong experience with Agile QA testing Expertise in mobile phone technologies (features and specifications) High knowledge of defect management raising and handling ISTQB software testing certification A good understanding of documentation requirements Ability to create efficient and meaningful test cases Ability to self-manage multiple projects under tight deadlines A strong level of presentation, communication and planning skills Capable of making decisions, working independently and organising own workload. Approachable, flexible, team orientated and self-assertive where required. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. You will model complex configurable designs and produce performance analyses that drive architectural decisions. Responsibilities: Track state-of-the-art developments in novel storage technologies; Be collaborative in developing and prototyping end-to-end solutions with researchers within the group, researchers and engineers elsewhere in the company, as well as with external researchers in the open source community, universities, and other labs; Contribute to the state-of-the-art developments in novel storage system research, preferably by contributing to the corresponding open software frameworks and by publishing high quality material in renowned academic conferences and journals. Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in developing software performance models in one or more of the following: CPUs, GPUs, networking on chip, or equivalent. 7+ experience in driving architecture and microarchitecture improvements using performance model analyses. 7+ years’ experience in SystemC, C++, and/or TLM2.0. Strong problem solving, debugging, and brainstorming skills. Fluent in English and French Desirables: Familiarity with ARM processors and on-chip interfaces such as OCP & AXI.
