Job title: Senior DevOps Engineer Salary: £250,000-£350,000 The team: In this role, you will be responsible for a platform that enables continuous deployment of systems throughout the estate. This role is critical in enabling consistent delivery and minimizing the change failure rate of our company's IT systems, identifying, and driving efficiency and reliability improvement initiatives through the estate. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in independently building and developing solutions for continuous deployment, measuring and improving DevOps metrics, and in working with infrastructure and development teams as well as 3rd parties. You will need to work both on your own, with others, and at times under pressure to meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Work with the Business Engineering team to enhance and support the CI/CD build and deploy pipelines on our multiple target platforms, implement and automate change management controls for in-house developed systems and platforms. - Support Site Reliability Engineering to improve and unify application and deployment observability and establish practices for Disaster Recovery Testing. Support the migration from on-prem deployments to the Cloud platform in AWS, working closely with the platform and support functions to ensure a seamless transition and an effective and efficient process. - Proactively identify faults and SDLC process bottlenecks before they become visible problems.
