Windows Deployment Engineer (Contract) Location: Guildford, Surrey Contract Length: 3 months (initially) Rate: £250 per day (Inside IR35) You must be prepared to go through basic finance and security checks due to the nature of the end client. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Windows Deployment Engineer to join our client's team in Guildford on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a hands-on role to support the deployment of new Windows 11 devices, replacing existing Windows 10 devices as part of a hardware refresh. Key Responsibilities: Deploy and configure AMC Gen2 devices with Windows 11 across our organisation. Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the newly deployed Windows 11 devices. Ensure successful transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, with minimal disruption to users. Work closely with the IT team to resolve any deployment or configuration issues. While most users will be on Windows 11 devices, support may be needed for AVC (Allianz Virtual Client) which is still running on Windows 10. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in Windows deployment and support, particularly Windows 11. Strong understanding of hardware refresh processes, including device configuration and user migration. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows environments. Experience with virtual clients or remote desktop services is advantageous. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
