3rd Line System Support Administrator - central London Up to £50k base with great benefits package 4 days a week onsite near Farringdon We are looking for a permanent 3rd line specialist to join the research division of a thriving organisation in the heart of London. There is an array of planned project work in the scope of this role which will allow the candidate to expand and further their career. Also you will provide day to day support across the organisations research function. Taking responsibility for escalated service ticket issues, delivery of technical project work packages, Data Centre operational support and overseeing and maintaining monitoring tools. Working across technologies within VM Ware, MS Server, Citrix, Azure, Active Directory, Scripting and the wider Wintel server platforms. Also will take a lead role across the configuration, administration and management of the M365 environment, SharePoint, Teams and device management solutions such as AutoPilot. This is a 3rd line level role with some adhoc 2nd line responsibilities and scope to move towards elements of architecture. Key skills we are looking for include - M365 environment technical support A strong understanding of IT Service Management processes (ITIL) Microsoft environment support covering Active Directory, SCCM, DNS, Scripting Knowledge of Enterprise infrastructure platforms, VM Ware, NetApp, Citrix, monitoring systems and data centre environments. Strong knowledge of maintaining Wintel servers, operating systems and storage in a research or enterprise wide environment.
