SAP DMC SME - Automotive Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced SAP DMC SME to work with a key client *Please note this is inside IR35 and will be hybrid 50/50 in Cheshire* Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) with a strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and leadership in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP DMC solutions to enhance automotive manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: . Serve as the primary technical and functional expert for SAP DMC implementations and integrations in automotive manufacturing environments. . Analyze current automotive production processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP DMC capabilities. . Design and configure SAP DMC solutions to meet specific automotive manufacturing requirements, including vehicle assembly, powertrain production, and component manufacturing. . Develop and maintain solution architectures that integrate SAP DMC with other systems used in automotive manufacturing (ERP, PLM, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.). . Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams during SAP DMC implementations in automotive plants. . Ensure SAP DMC implementations comply with automotive industry standards and regulations (eg, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3). Required Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. . Minimum of 8 years of experience in MES/MOM implementations in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP DMC. . In-depth knowledge of SAP DMC modules, including Production Operations, Plant Connectivity, and Manufacturing Analytics, as applied to automotive manufacturing. . Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, including assembly, body shop, paint shop, and powertrain production. .
