Business Application Support Analyst - Policy Admin Systems, Azure DevOps - Insurance - London, City An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this Lloyd's Insurance Broker based in the City of London as a Business Application Support Analyst. This role is Hybrid working - 4 days a week working in their offices and the remainder working remotely. Applications must have previous experience working in the Lloyd's of London/London Insurance Market is an ESSENTIAL requirement. Working in a small team you will provide software support to the Business and Technology Teams for inhouse built/configured systems. Key responsibilities: Support and work closely with the Service Desk and business supporting Office 365, MS Power Platform and Policy Admin System queries Log all queries on the Service Desk systems Log all Development/Bug work for inhouse built systems on DevOps and adhere to sprint structure Co-ordinate and supply training and software updates with the Service Desk and Technology Leadership Work closely with the Business Systems Development and Analyst teams to support their builds Review and distribute where appropriate software release notes to raise awareness and inform users of available fixes or updated functionality Key skills/experience required:- Previous experience working in the Lloyd's of London/London Insurance Market is essential Insurance Policy Admin Systems highly desirable Must have strong skills Microsoft 365 Azure DevOps SQL Reporting would be highly desirable Application/Systems support experience Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, design and testing techniques Good people skills and a flexible approach when dealing with business users and project team individuals Must be a team player at all levels of the organisation

Business Analyst - Insurance - London, City Our client, a fast growing and innovative Lloyd's of London Syndicate is looking for a Business Analyst to assist on a varied change programme. Previous experience of both technology and governance/operational processes working in the Lloyd's Insurance Market is an essential requirement for this role. Key responsibilities:- Supporting the Change team by initially gathering detailed requirements and documenting current business processes. Thereafter, supporting aspects of the Target Operating Model and Governance workstream plus documenting the new/amended business processes Liaising with business units, plus own critical assessment of current system(s)/processes that feeds into the existing operating model to ensure repetition and data reconciliation is effectively exercised Development of workflows to map existing processes across all Syndicate functions Assist in the development of relevant test plans for system roll-out and upgrades Help with system proposal and scoring templates to ensure that the vendor selection process is robust Key technical skills required:- Prior Lloyd's Insurance market experience and roles within operations (experience of doing a functional role within insurance business) Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's timetable and returns Understanding of multiple project demands and working within a change team Experience of working in a new PMO function and start-up phase culture Strong grasp of IT especially MS Office products including relevant project management tools Full understanding of technical requirements and concepts needed to implement changes specified Strong grasp of workflow mapping tools such as Visio Proven track record of gathering technical requirements and delivering change solutions Able to bring together the business and articulate the vision and value of the changes being implemented.
