Hunter Bond are partnered with a highly reputable, tech driven trading & market making firm who are looking to add a Lead Engineer to join a front office team that handles the market data & exchange connectivity that's critical to driving the strategies of the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a great opportunity to lead a small, high performing and agile team, as well as being a key figure in the buildout of complex software applications connecting to external market data vendors, brokerages etc at a very high speed.
Key Requirements
Extensive modern C++ Development experience
Must have worked in a Linux/Unix environemnt
Must have worked on market data, execution or exchange connectivity systems
Big advicate of writing clean, readable, testable code and solid understanding of how architecture affects performance of the code
Experienced working on multi-threaded systems at scale
This is a London based role paying up to £200k basic salary + excellent bonuses & benefits.
