Position Overview:
As a Senior Azure Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, optimise performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications. This is a fully remote position, offering competitive compensation and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools and services.
Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Configure and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, containers, and networking components.
Experience of designing and building architecture within a Cloud-based role.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards across all environments.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
Experience of designing and building architecture within a Cloud-based role.
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines.
Solid understanding of containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
