Mission:
To design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments to on-premises environments. The role involves end-to-end pipeline creation, deployment automation, and integration of testing and monitoring tools to ensure seamless and secure application delivery.
Technical Proficiencies:
Azure DevOps: Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines, build and release definitions, and managing Azure Repos. Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or YAML for automation.
On-Premises Deployment: Experience deploying to on-premises Servers and hybrid environments. Configuration Management: Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Octopus Deploy, Puppet, or Chef.
Testing Automation: Knowledge of automated testing tools integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or similar.
Version Control: Proficiency in Git and version control best practices. Desired Candidate Attributes:
Hybrid Environments: Experience with both cloud and on-premises server deployments.
Security Expertise: Understanding of secure DevOps practices and Firewall configurations.
Containers & Virtualization: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or VM management.
Azure Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent certifications.
