Job Specifications
We are looking for a lead OMP planning solution Consultant with experience within SAP S4/HANA, ensuring seamless support of existing business functionalities and aiding in the migration to S4/HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
-Integration Management: Oversee technical integration of OMP with SAP S4/HANA, including setup of OMP Namespace and Advanced Download Configurator (ADC).
-Functional Support: Understand and enhance planning systems (Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning) to ensure seamless functionality with current templates.
-Collaboration: Work with cross-functional squads to align integration changes, guide engineers in backlog-to-code transformations, and troubleshoot technical issues.
-Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality, documented, and efficient code from vendors and squads, following SDLC best practices.
-Testing & Deployment: Lead software testing and deployment, maintaining automated testing for quality assurance in planning areas.
-Project Coordination: Support capacity planning, release schedules, and deliverables in alignment with project timelines and requirements.
-Incident Management: Investigate and resolve escalated issues, conducting root cause analyses to prevent future disruptions.
Skills and experience needed for this role:
-Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, preferably in life sciences.
-SAP & OMP Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP MM, PP, and OMP modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, E2E) with experience in SAP-OMP integration, OMP Namespace, and ADC.
Technical Skills:
-SAP Basis knowledge (logical paths, tRFC),
-Proficiency in ABAP, especially for remote function calls. Familiarity with iDocs, AWS, Active
-Directory, IDMS, and RDS configurations.
-Experience with cloud environments and security protocols.
This role is critical for driving seamless SAP-OMP integration, supporting planning functionalities, and ensuring technical and functional success in S4/HANA migration projects
