UI/UX Engineer
A leading investment bank are seeking a talented UI/UX Engineer with strong React and Figma skills to help them create intuitive, user-centered products for clients and internal teams.
Position Overview
As a UX Engineer/Developer, you will bridge the gap between design and development to create seamless, engaging user interfaces for a range of financial products. Your role will involve working closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to bring complex, data-driven applications to life. With a solid grasp of both Front End engineering and UX design, you will be instrumental in enhancing the user experience across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate business requirements and user insights into effective, intuitive digital experiences.
Develop responsive, accessible Front End components using React, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Use Figma to create interactive prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
Build reusable component libraries, focusing on clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Conduct usability testing and collect user feedback to refine and optimize the user experience.
Ensure designs and implementations adhere to UX/UI best practices and align with our brand standards.
Collaborate with Back End developers to integrate APIs and ensure data consistency and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong experience using Figma for design and prototyping, with a keen eye for visual detail and design principles.
Understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility, and responsive design.
Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git) and Agile methodologies.
