Job Description

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term (September 2025 - July 2026)

Location: Primary School based in Bolton

Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time Only

Start Date: September 2025

End Date: July 2026

Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive salary, depending on experience

We are recruiting for a warm and welcoming primary school in Bolton seeking a committed and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team for the 2025-2026 academic year.

🏫 About the Role:

You will work alongside class teachers to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, helping to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. The role may involve working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small groups, and assisting with classroom management and daily routines.

👶 About You:

Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting
Be patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a positive attitude
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils
