Join Christie & Co as a Market Insights & Data Administrator in our evolving Capital Markets team.

Location: London or Manchester but with scope to work on a hybrid basis out of one of Christie & Co’s regional offices and / flexibility to work from home for up to two days per week.

Our services include brokerage, consultancy and valuation across our specialist markets.

About the Role
Christie & Co is actively expanding its real estate capital markets activity across our specialist sectors and this role is an important part of this growth strategy. Real estate capital markets work involves working with investors who buy the freehold interest in a property which is then leased to a tenant who operates the business within the property. The key objective of this role is to maintain and expand our data base of investors whilst assisting with wider research into investor requirements and our CRM / business development strategy.

This is a great opportunity for an articulate and entrepreneurial individual who is computer literate with good analytical and research skills. Being flexible, self motivated and a strong team player are all important attributes along with a good attention to detail and an enquiring mind.

The role has a number of important elements with key duties and responsibilities including:
Cleaning, categorising and maintaining investor records in our Salesforce CRM platform
Undertaking research to track and record ownership of properties across our sectors using platforms like Nimbus, Land Registry and MSCI
Tracking and recording of investor requirements and transactional evidence
Data analysis to identify common investors who are active across multiple Christie & Co sectors
Research to identify new investors looking to enter our sectors
Supporting our team with subsequent business development initiatives
Assisting with projects, particularly in terms of data room administration

The successful candidate may not be an expert in Christie & Co’s specialist sectors but will have strong transferable skills, a positive / proactive attitude and a willingness to learn about our specialist markets where full training will be given. This is a role offering excellent career progression potential along with the opportunity to be part of one of Christie & Co’s most exciting growth areas.

Skills & Experience
A background in real estate/ property is desirable but not essential– applications will also be considered from candidates who have strong transferable skills which are relevant to the role;
Knowledge of operational metrics relative to Christie & Co’s sectors is desirable (but not essential as full training will be given);
Good numerical skills and excellent written English;
Good knowledge of powerpoint and excel;
Knowledge of Salesforce, Nimbus and MSCI is desirable but not essential as training will be given
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
