Insight Global is looking for a Senior Backend AWS Engineer to join a leader in the telecommunication industry.

What you'll do:
• Develop excellent quality software
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, including support and continuous integration
• Contribute to the technical direction of the team
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team
• Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers
• Work with internal teams, external vendors and colleagues in the US
• Quickly build prototypes and work with top brains in ML across the industry

Must haves:
Experience as an AWS Software Developer
AWS certification
Back-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with API and Microservices
Experience working with Node.js Python, React, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync/GraphQL, API Gateway, Step Functions etc
Expertise in working and following the best practices of using AWS serverless.
Proven ability to refactor and write performant and clean code
Experience writing, reviewing and testing your own and teammates’ code
Restless attitude and a drive to always make things better and quicker
Experience in a fast pace environment
Experience working with CI/CD in an agile team

Plusses:
Experience with AWS CDK Platform
