We're actively seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our Technology team to modernise and optimise our back-end. In the role, you will champion good development practices and tackle the most exciting challenges. Limio, a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, values hands-on engagement from our developers. Expect to contribute directly, ship code, and be passionate about creating a meaningful impact working within a close-knit team.

Limio is an early-stage startup founded by Amaury de Closset and Daniel Morton, formerly of GoCardless (YC S11), Zuora, BCG and Three, and has raised from fifteen fantastic entrepreneurs, including the founders of Gumtree and Entrepreneur First, and top business angels from Episode 1 and Crane VC. We count the Economist, Which? and OpenText as customers.

The Role
As our Senior Full-Stack Developer at Limio, you will hold a pivotal position rolling out new back-end functionalities. You will be hands-on with the code and help the team develop strong development practices. You'll collaborate closely with other full-stack engineers, offering mentorship to junior team members, and leading the way in resolving intricate back-end challenges that shape our future.

The requirements of the position are:

**Development: **
Design and lead the implementation of a new backend frameworks.
Improving the performance, robustness, reliability and security of our application.
Write good public-facing documentation for Limio APIs and SDK
Refactor ad-hoc code built over time into reusable, clean, well-documented code.
Drive adoption of the latest React features, eg react server components and server side rendering.

**Collaboration: **
Support and collaborate with junior team members.
Offer constructive feedback during PR (Pull Request) reviews.
Promote best coding practices within the team, including clean code, testing, and regular releases.

**Support the business: **
Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Success, to ensure we can meet customer’s expectations.
Engage with customers: Interact with customers seeking senior technical guidance, especially during the adoption of new frameworks.
Assist in implementation: Offer support for complex feature requests as part of our professional services during implementation.
Contribute to support: At Limio, our commitment to support extends throughout the organisation, with everyone, including the CEO and CTO, actively involved in assisting customers.

You should apply if
You have 5+ years of full-stack development experience in production environments.
You have experience with Node.js (or equivalent, such as Next.JS or Nest.Js) in production.
You have experience with React (or equivalent, such as Angular).

You have a track record of setting high standards for technical quality and helping teams achieve them.

Logistics
Compensation is £80,000 to £100,000 depending on your experience. We strongly believe in shared success and you will receive a competitive stock option grant.
