Databricks Administrator / 6 months / London (Hybrid) / £450 to £550pd (Inside IR35)
I am currently looking for an experienced Databricks Platform Administrator to join a client of ours on a 6 month project. This has been determined inside IR35 and will require you to go on site 3 days per week.
Skills & experience needed:
Proven commercial experience administering Databricks in an enterprise environment
Strong experience working with either Azure Databricks or AWS Databricks.
Proficiency in Databricks REST APIs, CLI, Terraform, or automation tools.
Able to champion security best practices, data governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Log Analytics).
Knowledge of Spark cluster operations
For this position we are able to wait up to 2 weeks, though ideally looking to start someone asap.

Role Overview: As a Cloud Database Administrator, Architect & Transition Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, administering, and executing database migration initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless transitions to our new cloud ecosystem, building HA environments, and leveraging IaC tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate deployments and management processes.
