Your opportunity

You Will

Provide support to the Secured Credit team portfolio managers through the generation of portfolio data, analysis and risk information.
Provide research support for undertaking sector reviews and individual credit analysis
Update monthly standard presentations and assist in the preparation of data for presentations, client reporting and ad hoc marketing content
Work closely with the Performance Management team to ensure accurate reporting and performance attribution.
Provide analytics to ensure consistency across accounts and strategies.
Help the team with data collection and analysis and statistics.
Assist in developing and maintaining quantitative tools that capture and process data to enable both ad-hoc analysis and systematic processes
Engage with other departments to facilitate portfolio administration; such as corporate actions.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from the team, client portfolio managers, client account managers, operations team, RFP team and marketing department.
Build up knowledge of the CRD dealing and associated custom applications.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills

Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Proficient in Python and experienced in data processing and analysis using SQL.
Experience in using visualization tools like Power BI and knowledge of DAX, is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, including Azure DevOps, Git, and data storage and processing applications like Snowflake, is preferred.
Educated to degree level, preferably with a focus towards data science/finance
Interest in financial markets / macroeconomics and a desire to learn about investments and the analysis of fixed income markets and in particular securitized sectors
Desire to study towards the IMC and/or CFA qualifications

Nice to have skills

Relevant and/or similar experience working in fixed income markets is desirable but not essential
Analytical mind-set
Good written and verbal communication skills
