Paragon are working with a boutique systematic hedge fund, with a bespoke quant trading platform, which has attracted staff from Citadel, Point72 and Balyasny.

The trading/software teams are leveraging a sophisticated infrastructure which is vital to their success, and they need a Systems Engineer to join their London office as they scale this platform.

They role requires someone to come in and aid their trading divisions, working with equity trading apps and augmenting the technological infrastructure, enabling them to operate with upmost efficiency.

Stack: Linux, Python, AWS, Docker

The company is a tech firm before a hedge fund, and thus they hire the most talented engineers on merit, offering them London leading compensation and 2 days a week remote.

The fund has significant AuM deployed across several funds, specializing in Fixed Income, FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Futures and Options. This is an opportunity to work directly with PMs and Traders, based on the same floor, to service trading flow, resolve challenging trading queries, face to external counterparties and manage trade life cycle events (coupon payments, rate re-sets, options, expires, credit events et al), and provide the business with ops risk management services.
