The AWS Global Sales Strategy & Operations team seeks a Sales Strategy & Operations intern to join our London office. The successful candidate will support critical business operations and provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making. This role encompasses managing daily operational tasks, analyzing business metrics, and identifying growth opportunities to support sales leadership.
This position combines analytical excellence with strong organizational capabilities. As a successful candidate, you'll bring advanced proficiency in data analysis tools to examine sales performance metrics and create comprehensive reports that drive operational improvements. Your analytical mindset will help you identify trends and develop data-driven recommendations for enhancing business efficiency.
Beyond analytics, you'll serve as a crucial communication hub for the AWS Sales Strategy & Operations team. A day in the life
This role will be operational support to the sales leader, and responsible for successfully landing & implementing key business mechanisms and programs in support of our customers and sales teams. The successful candidate has excellent business and sales acumen, strong communication and collaboration skills, deep analytics experience, broad technical skills, and a demonstrated ability to both execute and influence. They must be willing to roll up their sleeves, dive deep to lean, be comfortable working within ambiguity, and have a passion for driving operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field (incl. 2025 and 2026 grads)
Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically: Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, advanced formulas), PowerPoint (creating compelling business presentations), Word (professional document creation and formatting)
Exceptional business writing and communication skills. You are comfortable talking with all different kinds of people, interests, and walks of life. You write clearly, listen well, and use the right tone for the audience.
Strong attention to detail in data analysis and documentation
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports
Experience with data visualization and presentation
Preferred Qualifications
