Position: Mail Sorter

Contract Type: Permanent – 40hrs per week

Location: Ryton on Dunsmore

Shift: Days / Mon-Fri / 4am-12:30pm

Hourly pay: £12.21 + night shift allowance

About the role:

This role will be processing the mail, scanning, encoding, and sorting inbound and outbound consignments as well as accurately recording account details. You’ll locate and identify all mail in the warehouse to secure it in the sort centre for processing. You will need to handle all items of mail in a safe and secure manner in line with mail integrity.

Key Role Responsibilities:


Quality checks of items processed through ETOE operations
Bagging and tagging outgoing International Mail
Light maintenance and cleaning and tidying of ETOE area
Scanning and palletizing outbound mail and handover ready scanned mail safely wrapped for distribution
Lifting of mail boxes and bags (in accordance with Manual Handling guidelines)
Report any breach in Security to the Supervisor/Sort Centre Manager
Ensure that all verbal and written communication is appropriate and in line with data Protection regulations
At all times act in an appropriate and respectful manner when dealing with other employees, visitors or member of the public
Comply with the company policies and procedures when communicating with others, verbal, written and electronic
Check format/spec of the mail, segregate and run in relevant streams

A flexible in approach to work and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
You won’t need experience, we’ll provide you with that, but you will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail.

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Consultant specialising in vulnerability management to lead and enhance our vulnerability management practice. The role involves overseeing the entire vulnerability management life cycle, including identifying, prioritizing, remediating, and reporting security risks, while also taking a strategic and hands-on leadership approach. The team is a Global team with team members located in London, New York and Singapore and will operate a follow the sun support model. Required skills and experience: Proven experience managing and running vulnerability management processes, particularly with experience leading vulnerability management in large-scale, multinational environments.
