Here at Jet2.com and Jet2holdidays, we’re seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to safeguard cloud-hosted critical business processes and sensitive data from cyber-attack disruption. You’ll lead on identifying and resolving security issues across cloud infrastructure and be a subject matter expert (SME) for cloud security.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cloud Security Specialist

Shape, create or own cloud security strategy, policies, tools and services.
Evaluate and shape responses to cloud alerts and events from security tools.
Conduct threat modelling and develop cloud security incident response plans.
Provide security consultation as a cloud security SME in forums and to other teams.
Provide cloud security guidelines and best practices.
Track and report on cloud security posture and maturity.


General IT Security

Provide support to the wider IT Security Team, including in areas outside of core cloud capabilities.
Provide support to infrastructure, cloud and operations teams to be cloud security champions.
Provide specialised security guidance to influence stakeholders.


What You’ll Have

Experience and Education

Experience of AWS cloud security and other public cloud security.
Certified in cloud security such as AWS, CCSK, CCSP, GCP, GCSA, SANS and other public-cloud courses.
Experience with cloud security frameworks and best practices.
Experience with AWS or 3rd party cloud security tools.


Skills and Behaviours

Able to provide a ‘path to yes’, using data for transparent cloud security guidance or decisions.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and their security best practices.
Demonstrates ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Able to work in a fast-paced complex environment, working to deadlines while under pressure.
