Summary

Due to growth of local contracts, NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Technician to support our contracts in the South East Region providing PPM and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a background in Mechanical maintenance with relevant and current qualifications.

This is a mobile role, so a valid UK driving licence is essential, as a company van will be provided. The position is based in Reading (RG7) for 2.5 days per week, with the remaining 2.5 days spent working in the surrounding areas.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
Maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of mechanical plant, working to current standards and the contract specification.
Maintenance and monitoring of domestic hot and cold-water services - L8 awareness (domestic water systems).
Submitting concise & accurate reports of work carried out & time spent on tasks.
Ownership of site logbooks and record keeping for your designated sites.
Providing details for further recommended works, including all the required information for office personnel to action.
Support the wider team with out of hours tasks such as FCUs and emergency light testing. .
The position is Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630 - Call Out Rota is 1 in 5

What We’re Looking For

A Mechanical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

You Will Hold Current Qualifications To Include

Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
City and Guilds Qualification in Heating and Ventilation OR Plumbing
A minimum of Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ‘A’ and ‘B’. BMS experience and Multi-skilling capability and or HVAC certificates, equivalent qualifications,
Conversant with Mechanical Plant/Plumbing related Building Services PPM's
Driving Licence
