We’re on the lookout for a strategic Editorial Director (Maternity Cover) to lead the charge on content for some of our most high profile Technology, Consumer, and Corporate Affairs clients. If you live and breathe storytelling, love working across platforms and know how to craft content that moves audiences and shifts perceptions, this is your moment.

In this role, you’ll shape smart, insight led narratives that perform seamlessly across earned media, online platforms and social. You’ll work hand in hand with our client teams to elevate brand reputations and bring campaigns to life with clarity, purpose and creativity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the trusted editorial lead for a diverse range of client accounts
Own content delivery across multiple campaigns, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met
Build strong client relationships, provide strategic counsel and be a go to for content guidance

Content Creation & Strategy

Write and edit compelling long form and thought leadership content on topical issues
Develop sharp, channel appropriate social media copy for both organic and paid campaigns
Partner with teams on Golin branded marketing materials and new business content that tells our story with flair
Ensure all content is grounded in insight, brand strategy and audience relevance

Team Leadership

Be the agency’s senior editorial brain - guiding, reviewing and elevating content across teams
Support team members in creating media facing materials that cut through the noise
Lead content workflows, from planning through to execution, across departments and disciplines

Strategic Impact

Collaborate with the Head of Integrated Media to shape pitch winning and campaign enhancing strategies
Use research, social listening and audience insight to spark new content ideas and identify storytelling opportunities
Help brands speak with purpose, credibility and resonance across every platform

Platforms

Understand the evolving role of content across earned, owned and paid media
Confidently adapt tone, format and structure to optimise performance across digital, print, social and beyond
Apply SEO best practices to drive visibility and discovery

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience crafting content for leading Technology, Corporate and Consumer brands
Deep understanding of how to tailor messaging across media, digital and social channels
Strong client management skills, ideally gained in a PR, creative or integrated agency setting
Experience working with global clients and navigating complex content ecosystems
Excellent project management, communication, and editorial judgement
A passion for storytelling that’s as strategic as it is creative
