Role title: (Senior) Technical Product Owner
Function: Digital Analysis
Department: Digital Engineering
Location: Remote

Role purpose:
To lead and to support with requirements one of Digital’s development teams. To ensure the team can consistently deliver projects, enabling the seamless flow of data between Front End and Back End teams, including integration with downstream services outside of Digital.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Responsible for eliciting and refining business needs into functional and non-functional requirements documented into Azure DevOps Board Epics, Features and User Stories
Responsible for leading the output an Agile development team. This includes business stakeholder engagement, prioritisation SAFe PI planning, progress reporting, and final sign-off of deliverable
When problems come up at the time of implementation, the candidate needs to be ready to problem-solve how requirements can still be met
Accountable for prioritising a development teams backlog, in line with the broader priorities of the business

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Able to comprehend, interrogate, and gain insight into architectural models, processes and communications (microservices, cloud architecture, etc)
Have in-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Work as Business Analyst and team leader on several Agile, Waterfall, SAFe project teams, offshore and onsite.
Familiar with the transaction methods common to software development: APIs, XML, JSON, REST, Message Queues, etc as well as being familiar with server-side architecture
Able to create additional documentation materials, such as wireframes and flow documents.

Write well structured, concise User Stories that deliver value to the Customer or consuming team. Understand NFRs and appropriate capture of these within story templates too.

Knowledge and experience in eCommerce or similar highly transactional industries

We are now recruiting a Technical Surveying Manager (specialising in Technical Lending) on a full time 6-month Fixed Term Contract. The role would suit an experienced AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS surveyor looking for a new opportunity and the chance to be the technical face of e.surv for our lender clients. You will interact with lenders, operations, the wider risk and audit team and provide technical guidance to external clients. Occasional national travel may be required with presence in the Kettering Office to suit business needs. Main Accountabilities Maintain and enhance e.surv’s outward facing contact for lenders . Attend lender meetings . Deliver regular presentations at lender and regional conferences. Supporting lender clients with technical guidance and their individual policy requirements Monitor and react to industry news/policy changes .
