Job Title:Lead Technical Support Engineer – GE ADMS (PoF/PoA, SCADA, DMS, OMS)
Location: London, UK
Job Description:
Provide technical support for GE ADMS applications including SCADA, DMS, OMS, DNAF, Storm Assist, and DER.
Act as a primary point of contact for issue resolution; investigate, analyze, and implement lasting solutions.
Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and support teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for customer engagements.
Ensure adherence to NERC CIP Standards and internal operational procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and drive knowledge-sharing through documentation and internal training.
Maintain ownership of open support cases, ensuring timely and effective follow-up and closure.
Conduct root cause analysis across networking, databases, user interfaces, and system integrations.
Represent support in strategic customer calls and planning sessions.
Participate in a rotational on-call schedule and support occasional on-site engagements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Hands-on experience with GE ADMS platforms: Power On Fusion (PoF) and/or Power On Advantage (PoA).
Proficiency in DMS applications like DPF, IVVC, FDIR/FLISR, and OMS.
Strong understanding of SCADA systems, User Interface tools, and Modeling environments.
Deep knowledge of Transmission and Distribution electrical grid operations.
Proficient with Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Jasper Reports, and Cassandra.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, switches).
Skilled communicator with a customer-first mindset and collaborative approach.
Experience with remote monitoring and diagnostic tools and strategies.
Proven problem-solving ability, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
