Position: Financial Assistant – Cryptocurrency
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Assistant – Cryptocurrency to support the financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning of our cryptocurrency portfolio. This role requires strong financial acumen combined with a solid understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management
Monitor and manage the company’s cryptocurrency portfolio, tracking asset value, allocation, and performance.
Execute trades, transfers, and conversions in line with defined investment strategies and risk management guidelines.
Regularly assess portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to align with the company's financial goals.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports on cryptocurrency-related activities for internal stakeholders.
Report on key financial metrics such as unrealized gains/losses, trading volumes, and wallet balances.
Analyze trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities or potential concerns.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper classification and recording of cryptocurrency transactions.
3. Financial Strategy Development
Support the development of financial strategies related to the company’s cryptocurrency initiatives.
Provide insights on financing options and long-term growth strategies based on market analysis and financial modeling.
Evaluate the financial viability of new cryptocurrency projects, partnerships, and investments through feasibility studies and impact assessments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, portfolio management, or accounting, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset trading.
Familiarity with various cryptocurrencies, trading platforms, and wallet management systems.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, financial software).
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to cryptocurrency.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make data-driven decisions under pressure.

- We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. Our main office is in Paris, but we are a highly distributed team, with members working remotely across Europe and the Americas. Leveraging your experience in building and maintaining complex backend applications, you will drive the development of our systems built with Feathers and NestJS. You will join our PMP (Preference Management Platform) team. The PMP team is responsible for one of Didomi's core products - the Preference Management Platform - which helps organizations collect, manage, and activate user preferences and consent across all touchpoints. It empowers businesses to offer personalized, privacy-conscious experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations like the GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws. Responsibilities Collaborate with other developers to ship new features Be in charge of the overall architecture of web applications Ensure that we have the right tests and structure in place to make sure that we can move quickly without breaking everything Share their knowledge of backend development principles and best practices with the team Keep learning new technologies and be on the look-out for new ideas that we should try out Qualifications At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript Experience with complex backend applications in Node and modern JavaScript tooling and libraries (Feathers, NestJS) Experience with complex microservices backend architectures with queues, event streams, etc. Experience with AWS or other cloud providers Quality-oriented mindset: testing, code reviews, code quality, etc. Awareness of performance considerations A passion for simple, maintainable and readable code that balances pragmatism and performance How do we build our products ? For the frontend, we have adopted the micro-frontends architecture with single-spa for building our user interface. All SPAs we build get plugged into our shell. We also build a multitude of SDKs from Web and Mobile (iOS, Android) to CTV and Unity. For the backend, we have multiple services (APIs and Lambdas) written in Javascript and Typescript. We leverage PostgreSQL and DynamoDB as our main databases and manage our infrastructure with Terraform and Cloudformation. The principles of infrastructure-as-code are very important to us and we commit everything including KMS-encrypted secrets. Our most important services have 100% code coverage and we deploy our pipeline runners on GCP on a Kubernetes cluster. We process hundreds of millions of requests per day and are building our analytics platform on Kinesis Firehose, AWS S3, EMR jobs to provide performant analytics for our clients. Internally we use Athena and Redash. We rely on a multitude of AWS/GCP services for building, deploying, serving, monitoring, and scaling our services. We use Gitlab for our code and CI/CD.
