Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is the leading software provider for the operations of national and regional electricity grids worldwide. Our software solutions range from supporting electricity markets, enabling grid and network planning, to real-time electricity grid operations.
We are seeking a dynamic individual with expertise in both business analysis and solution architecture to support the implementation of Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) solutions for a Distribution System Operators (DSOs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and designing robust solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness based on GE Vernova GridOS ADMS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
As “Solution Analyst GridOS - ADMS” You Will
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for ADMS solutions, including impact of emerging trends as distributed energy resources (DERs).
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather consensus and validate requirements with stakeholders.
Design and architect ADMS solutions (Business Requirements documents, Statement of Work, Solution Architecture documents), ensure traceability of requirements with solutions proposed.
Ensure the scalability, security, and integration of ADMS solutions with existing IT and OT systems and infrastructure
Collaborate with the Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager), to interact with customers defining, producing and maintaining an optimal Solution Design based on customer needs and products capabilities.
Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g. business analysts, IT / Cybersecurity experts) and make sure their design contributions meet system architecture functional and non-functional requirements.
Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement in their segment or domain (best practices and reference material - reference architectures, reference solutions)
Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering (Customer Voice, Return on Experience, product enhancements, reference architectures)
Build technical expertise in the field of their segment or domain. Deliver technical consultancy services on demand
Coordinate knowledge capitalization and dissemination across the Services & Solution Design teams,
Be accountable for activities planning, progress reporting, and completing activities in his scope as per approved budget.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar program, with a focus on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering /Power systems.
Proven experience in the energy or utilities sector. Understanding of ADMS technologies and DSO Operations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools is an advantage.
Experience of cloud and cloud native technologies such as containers and Kubernetes,
Exposure to iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile, Safe, Scrum, DevOps…
Preferred Qualifications
Microservice Architecture: Understanding of microservice architecture and software development
Kubernetes: Understanding of Kubernetes, including software development in an orchestrated microservice architecture. This includes Kubernetes API, custom resources, API aggregation, Helm, and manifest standardization.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and solutions (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Exposure to iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile, Safe, Scrum, DevOps…
Experience in Services – Software Commissioning
