Backend Java Developers – Financial Accounting & Derivatives – London (Hybrid) - Inside IR35
Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is developing a new product and needs experienced Backend Java Developers to develop it.
They’re looking for engineers who know their way around:
Core Java (immutability, clean OOP design)
Concurrency (threads, visibility, synchronisation, pooling)
Microservices (domain/event-driven architecture)
Infra as Code (Ansible, code repos, observability, infra improvements)
Bonus points for Financial Accounting and OTC Derivatives knowledge this is a finance project at its core.
Location: Canary Wharf, London – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)
