The Role
As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core functionality of our platform. You’ll work closely with our front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop scalable and robust systems that support our ambitious goals. This is a high-impact role, where your expertise will help shape the future of property investment.
Your Impact
Develop, test, and maintain the backend architecture for our property investment platform.
Design and implement APIs that ensure smooth communication between the frontend and backend systems.
Work closely with our DevOps team to optimise system performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Drive the adoption of best practices in backend development, ensuring the platform is secure, efficient, and easy to maintain.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, continuously improving the system.
Requirements and Skills
1+ years of experience in backend development in GO
3+ years of experience in backend development
Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of GraphQL would be a plus
Proficiency in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) for scalable infrastructure.
Experience with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of blockchain/Web3 technologies and smart contract development is a plus.
Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

Your working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working from the office and Monday working from home. We will welcome you to our White City Office.
