We are seeking a skilled Sensor Characterisation Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge electro-optical characterisation activities. This role is essential to our development work and involves hands-on engagement with optical systems and experimental hardware setups. Alongside playing a key role in the development of optical systems and maintenance of optical bench setups.

The Key Requirements For This Sensor Characterisation Engineer Position,

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Knowledge of semiconductor devices and silicon products.
Proficiency in programming (high-level language or scripting).
Familiarity with the specification, setup, and alignment of free-space optics.
Solid understanding of optics and optical systems.
Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.

This is primarily an on-site role within our lab facilities in Edinburgh, with hybrid work options available (1-2 days remote, depending on project requirements).
