Job Description

Location: minimum 3 days per week in office

Reporting to: Head of SMB, UK and Ireland

Role Purpose:

Residing within the UKI SMB Team, the VAS Sales Leader will be responsible for developing the commercial framework to drive VAS growth with both partners and customers. These commercial frameworks will help deepen relationships in the marketplace, attracting and rewarding partners that are most closely aligned to Elavon’s strategic goals. The role holder will play a crucial role directly supporting the most significant partner opportunities in the Uk and Ireland, working closely with Business Development, Relationship Management, Finance, Product and Go to Market teams to craft the value proposition. The role will report directly to the Head of UKI SMB.

This position requires strong business acumen, problem solving, creativity, excellent writing communications, highly developed interpersonal skills and tenacity in order to be effective. The role holder will be expected to be comfortable engaging regularly with a broad set of senior stakeholders throughout the Elavon business as well as direct engagement with clients.

The position will be office-based within our London office, with an expectation of travel as required.

Key Accountabilities:

Own the development of a commercial frameworks and programmes to expand VAS distribution for our partner channel:
Develop partner segmentation and identify partner needs and Elavon’s channel goals
Design effective commercial propositions, programmes and frameworks to accelerate the adoption of products
Engage with a broad set of stakeholders to ensure timely and successful deployment



Lead and support construction of commercial proposal to large partner opportunities:
Key participant within Elavon “win team”; engage across multiple business functions and directly with the client in order to craft a mutually beneficial commercial proposal.
Lead senior management reviews of the commercial construct of the deal.
Review performance of successful deals and use learnings to support the development of future opportunities.



Provide thought leadership on future state commercial model:
Lead engagement with business areas to identify platform and process developments required to enable.
Develop business case and lead engagement with key stakeholders to gain commitment for implementation of the desired model.



Identify opportunities within existing partners to drive incremental value
Construct analysis of performance for top partners including revenue, contribution and strategic product / service distribution.
Develop pipeline of revenue and contribution growth opportunities and lead discussions with key stakeholders to identify path to unlock benefits.
