Senior Financial Engineer - AI Lead/LLM
My global banking client, based in London, is looking for a Senior Financial Engineer - AI Lead/LLM to join their team on a contract basis. Initial contract duration is 6 months in a hybrid working model.
Key skills:
Experience working as a Senior Financial Engineer/Software Engineer within a Global Bank
Strong knowledge in Software Engineering, Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
Python 3.x
Numpy and pandas
AI experience (at least one year experience)
LLM (Large Language Models) experience
Experience with prompt engineering in the context of Generative AI solutions/Large Language Models (LLMs)
Experience with RAG systems in the context of Generative AI/Large Language Models
Familiarity with advanced Generative AI techniques and framework like Agents, Graph RAGs, Langchain or similar libraries
Knowledge and experience of building AI (especially Generative AI) solutions
Experience working with Cloud based APIs for Large Language Models
Desirable skills:
C++ or Java
Knowledge of web UI coding frameworks python based such as Dash, Streamlit
Responsibilities:
Design, build and implementation of Traded Risk Quantitative libraries. The success of this library will be measured against the time to deployment, time of turnover on bugs, test KPIs
Delivery of a coding environment that is easy to use, is robust and can be fully re-used
Work closely with Quant Analysts, IT and Front Office to create synergies across different functions and departments
