Job Description
In Arm's Central Technology group we are building trail-blazing future technology which will keep Arm-based products redefining the state-of-the-art. We are looking for a hardworking Imaging Algorithm Engineer to join us as part of the CT-Systems Applied Computer Vision Team. This team is responsible for multimedia and vision oriented algorithm design, technology research, as well as next-gen Arm Multimedia Subsystem Architecture for mobile, large screen compute and other market segments. We are searching for a technologist to build algorithmic software components to multimedia systems. Using tailored combinations of Machine Learning and Media Processing we strive to bring the best possible realisations of camera, display and video effects to Arm's solutions. The components that we build, work together with hardware blocks such as Image Signal Processor, and Display Processor to define the complete multimedia experience on Arm.
Responsibilities
Developing high performance (in terms of both quality and compute utilisation) components to multimedia (camera, video, display) pipelines.
Contributing to system level design of a variety of use cases addressing multimedia processing.
Required Skills and Experience
Software development in python and c++
Machine learning model development in e.g. tensorflow/pytorch
Development of algorithmic components to imaging and/or multimedia software
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience
Experience in low level optimisation of Machine Learning and/or Imaging operations for specific hardware targets.
Machine Learning model and data operations (ML Ops)
