The Global Corporate Technology Team is responsible for crafting, deploying, and supporting Bloomberg’s internal IT systems. This includes our global corporate network plus all of the hardware, software and enterprise applications used by nearly 21,000 employees in more than 170 state of the art offices around the world. End-User Compute’s mission is to give Bloomberg employees the best computing platforms. We care about the interactive computing experience, from the operating system to the day-to-day applications one uses. We provide endpoint management and services that secure our environment while ensuring productivity. Bloomberg employees use our platforms day-to-day, which enables them to succeed.

The role

We are currently seeking a skilled Windows DevOps Engineer. In this role, you'll use tools like Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Configuration Management to automate and streamline IT operations on the Windows platform. Your tasks will include automating software deployments, enforcing security policies, managing updates, and monitoring compliance across devices. By using automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code principles, you'll help reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

Design, build and maintain automation workflows that keep our endpoints secure and compliant.
Research innovative ways to reduce operational overhead.
Leverage Tools and APIs to integrate systems together.
Monitor and optimize system performance and availability.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of production issues.

You'll need to have

Experience with medium to large scale IT enterprise application and/or infrastructure
Understanding the architecture around Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management, Azure and Intune.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills
Experience with SQL queries
Experience in Enterprise Microsoft and Third-Party security patching
Experience Office 365 Management
Experience supporting servers and client application administration
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

We Would Love To See

Experience with AI tools such as Co-pilot, ChatGPT and Gemini.
Project leadership experience
Working experience in an Agile environment
Experience with Log aggregation toolsets (e.g. SPLUNK, Grafana)
Knowledge of Python
