Our client is a highly ambitious UK based early-stage venture developing advanced processing and networking hardware solutions for High Performance Computing applications.
The company is looking to appoint an experienced technical leader with a track record of taking high performance processor board development projects from concept to production. The role will involve leading and growing a multidisciplined engineering team spanning: hardware, embedded systems, optical, software and mechanical design.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and industry background.
Ideally 10 years’ experience in electronics engineering and leadership, with a strong technical background in system and board level design and development.
A proven track record of successfully delivering complex hardware products, ideally covering one or more of the following: Single Board Computers, GPU Platforms, Networking Adapter Cards, Rugged Mil/ Industrial Spec Boards, Video/Graphics Boards.
Project management experience in early-stage hardware prototyping through to outsourced manufacturing.
A strong track record of building and scaling engineering teams.
Experience of implementing engineering processes and test & validation systems.
Previous experience of operating in a fast-faced startup environment.
BSc/MSc in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
