Location: Greater London Area. Hybrid working, 1 day per week in Holborn offices, rest remote.

We are looking for an Internal Recruiter, ideally with experience and passion in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion recruitment to help us fulfil our hiring needs.

Role Overview

At Public Digital, we work with governments, international organisations, and large institutions to help them adapt to the internet era. We know that to build truly user-centred public services, our own team needs to reflect the diversity of the people we serve.

We’re looking for an Internal Recruiter with a deep understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) to help us find, attract, and retain a diverse range of brilliant people. You’ll be embedded in our People & Culture team and work closely with hiring managers across the business to improve our recruitment processes, remove bias, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to first day.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive hiring and wants to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven organisation.

What You’ll Do For Us

Find the best candidates for all of our hiring needs
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes with a strong DE&I lens, from briefing to offer
Build inclusive attraction strategies, identifying and partnering with diverse talent networks
Review and improve job descriptions, interview practices, and selection criteria to reduce bias
Train and support hiring managers to run fair and equitable recruitment campaigns
Collect and analyse data to track progress against our diversity hiring goals

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as an in-house recruiter or talent partner, ideally in a mission-led or digital organisation, preferably but not necessarily experience in hiring consultants
A deep understanding of digital consultant role profiles, inclusive hiring practices, and practical experience embedding these in recruitment
Confident working across multiple roles at once and managing stakeholders at all levels
Skilled in writing accessible, inclusive job ads and using data to inform hiring decisions
Comfortable advocating for change and challenging the status quo in a constructive way
Able to bring in new, fresh ideas to attract diverse talent
The desire to work with the wider People Team on setting diverse talent up for success in all aspects of the employee lifecycle
High attention to detail in maintaining our ATS system (Workable) as well as all templates in regards to contracts, offer letters and more
Being able to match candidate skillsets to the hiring needs of different sectors
