Our client, a leading and highly prestigious bank, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Payments Project Manager to lead critical projects focused on the modernization and optimization of their back-office payments infrastructure. About the Role:

As a Payments Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex payments projects, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation of our payment systems. You will leverage your technical expertise in SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, and Faster Payments to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Payments Project Manager to include:
Manage the full project lifecycle for payments system overhauls, upgrades, and integrations.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Lead projects related to the integration of AI solutions into payment systems, focusing on automation, fraud detection, and enhanced customer experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payments systems.
Oversee the integration of new payment solutions with existing back-office systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of payment system implementations.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery of services.

Requirements for the successful Payments Project Manager to include
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the banking or financial services industry.
Deep technical expertise in payment systems, including SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, and Faster Payments.
Experience or strong understanding of AI technologies relevant to the banking and payments sector (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing).
Strong understanding of back-office banking systems and processes.
Experience with large-scale system overhauls and integrations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
A relevant degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).

We're primarily seeking JavaScript/React developers with 3+ years of experience to train large AI language models, helping cutting-edge generative AI models write better frontend code.
