My client is a top-tier quantitative hedge fund headquartered in London renowned for its data-driven approach and innovative trading strategies. We are currently looking for an experienced Quantitative Researcher to join the Systematic Trading team.
This team designs, builds, and maintains fully systematic strategies operating across a variety of global markets and trading frequencies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse vast and complex datasets using advanced statistical methods to uncover actionable insights.
Research, develop, and implement cutting-edge quantitative trading strategies.
Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing strategies.
Develop a deep understanding of global market structures and microstructure dynamics.
Requirements
Advanced academic degree (PhD or Master's) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Strong programming skills in at least one core language – Python, C++, or Java.
Proven experience in quantitative research or systematic trading environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

- As an Data Analyst, you will be part of the Gain Theory Data Practice and will be embedded in one of Gain Theory's client based squads. Working with your manager, you will be working on some of the top brands in the world and be hands on with data ranging from media, client specific, Gain Theory specific, sales, and more. You will work as part of a team to process and organize data in preparation for modeling. You will be challenged and have the opportunity to help innovate and automate. The Data Analyst is expected to make use of data processing techniques including SQL and ETL to handle the data. They will also utilize our internal data automation tools to ensure data pipelines, which clean and transform data, are executed effectively. This person will also run robust data QA processes. Additionally, the Data Analyst will work with the Data Manager on co-ordinating with client and agency contacts around continued flow of data from relevant data sources. The role will also interact with the wider data community within Gain Theory, especially with members of the Data Centre or Excellence (DCOE) to share best practice and both provide and receive support.
