Company:
A Senior Backend Engineer who has experience working with Platform and is product focused, is needed to join an exciting early stage AI social media start-up in London, with huge ambition.

The company is already generating crazy amounts of traffic to their application and are releasing features weekly, with incredible speed and impact.

They are now looking to bolster the team with a Senior Backend Engineer with Platform Experience to join a close-knit team. You will work closely with two other backend engineers while also taking ownership of infrastructure and performance on projects end-to-end, with fast release cycles.

The business is well positioned financially are looking to raise more money as they are set to scale the US. This is a great opportunity to join a company with an incredible office and culture!

You’ll build and scale the backend systems and APIs that power our product experience, working closely with the iOS team to deliver features customers love.
5+ years commercial experience working commercially as an Backend Engineer.
Experienced managing Infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
TypeScript, NodeJS (express), Docker, Terraform AWS, Postgres
B2C exposure ideally
Excellent communicator (especially about how things work under the hood)
Strong with Systems Design and Architecture design

Job purpose: The postholder will support all teams in their use of the charity’s database, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness of all data. The role will maintain effective data reporting processes and liaison on all data and information registration/ governance controls.
