Our client is a global leader in fashion and sports brand licensing, managing a diverse portfolio of iconic brands.
As the Head of FP&A, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making within the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while also managing the preparation of management accounts. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide insights and recommendations that support growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the financial planning and analysis function, delivering timely and insightful financial reports to senior management.
Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Provide financial modelling, scenario analysis, and trend forecasting to support commercial decision-making.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, delivering meaningful commentary and variance analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive profitability and operational efficiencies.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial performance against strategic objectives.
Support the CFO in board reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Implement and enhance financial systems and processes to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong technical accounting background.
Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, and statutory reporting.
Proven ability to provide strategic financial insights and drive business performance.
Experience in the fashion, retail, or licensing industry is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
