This is an excellent opportunity for Platform Engineer professionals to be part of leading-edge technology projects. Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Services Practice provides end-to-end solutions covering architecture, design, implementation, management, and on-going support across the entire enterprise technology infrastructure. Our services include a spectrum of management, consulting, and systems integration services to help our clients maximize value in their infrastructure resources, while optimizing infrastructure performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
To Implement, and manage AWS VPC components, including subnets, route tables, and gateways (IGW, NAT).
To Apply and configure security controls such as Network ACLs, Security Groups, and PrivateLink.
Responsible to work with AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and WAFv2 to manage secure and scalable network architecture.
Responsible to automate network configurations using CloudFormation.
To Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools like CloudWatch and Datadog.
Configure load balancers (ALB, NLB) and DNS management using Route 53.
To Implement and manage AWS Firewall Manager and Network Firewall.
Responsible to Manage cross-region and cross-account network setups for scalability and security.
Ensure proper IAM user and permission management.
Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integrations related to networking.

Key Skills and Experience:
Deep knowledge of AWS networking services like VPC Endpoints, Elastic IPs, ENI, and hybrid cloud networking (VPN, BGP, peering).
Proficiency in automation using CloudFormation and scripting with Shell/Python.
Strong understanding of AWS services like EC2, ELB, ECS, S3, Config, CloudTrail, EFS, and Lambda.
Expertise in cost optimization of AWS networking resources.
SC eligibility for compliance and secure operations.

Nice to have:
Experience with Terraform for network configuration automation.
Knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes.
Familiarity with creating and maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles.
Collaboration skills for optimizing network setups in hybrid cloud environments.
Understanding of AWS Services like Control Tower for multi-account governance.
