Business Analyst -
A highly reputable and globally recognised Commodities Trading Firm is undergoing a major digital transformation and is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of multiple front-to-back projects within the Endur (Openlink) space. The firm is a market leader in physical commodities trading and continues to invest heavily in technology, creating a secure, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Key Information:
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Day Rate: £600–£700/day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months (high likelihood of extension)
Sector: Physical Commodities (Oil, Gas, Power, LNG)
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the portfolio of projects within the Endur function.
Act as the primary Business Analyst on strategic and regulatory front-to-back initiatives.
Create and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with IT governance and delivery frameworks.
Work closely with stakeholders across the Front, Middle, and Back Office to gather and document business requirements.
Translate complex trading processes into actionable solutions and clear user stories.
Ensure smooth delivery and release management of Endur-related projects.
Manage third-party vendors where appropriate and ensure effective delivery oversight.
Track and escalate project risks, issues, and reporting to senior management.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven Business Analyst experience within commodities trading, ideally in a physical trading environment.
Strong trade lifecycle knowledge across Oil, Gas, Power, and LNG.
Hands-on experience with Endur (Openlink) — implementation or major upgrade project experience is essential.
Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale IT projects in trading environments.
Strong understanding of front-to-back trade flow, including risk, PnL, and operations.
Effective communication and stakeholder management, particularly in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Experience working with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously in a delivery-focused role.

Sustainability & Corporate Initiatives Track and report sustainability data related to procurement activities. Requirements: 3-5 years in procurement, contract negotiation, or supplier management (preferably in the hospitality industry). Strong negotiation and contract management expertise. English is essential, Spanish would be beneficial Knowledge of labour relations and quality management is a plus. Proficiency in SAP, COUPA, and Excel for procurement reporting.
