Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Technology Coordinator to join the firm as part of our Data Centers team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise. This position will be integral to project delivery teams throughout the preliminary design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and project closeout phases for a wide range of data center project types. The role will also be responsible for building on the Firm standards to develop and maintain tools, families, templates, and processes specific for the Data Centre sector. Further, the Data Centres Project Technology Coordinator will be responsible for providing BIM leadership and mentoring to staff of all levels and will develop strong business relationships and enhance day-to-day operations by being a conscientious, dependable, organized and detail-oriented team player.

In addition to working with the Data Centres teams, the Project Technology Coordinator will work closely with the Firm IT — Practice Team to proactively develop and implement best practices and workflows for all Corgan Offices with a primary focus on Revit®, its extensions and third-party tools. Additionally, experience creating computational design-based solutions and/or experience with energy modeling or other sustainable design technologies will be highly considered in the evaluation of the candidate. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to represent the firm within the industry through engaging with peers at national conferences. This position will exhibit leadership in providing technical support, training, and development to all architectural and interior design staff in all offices in which the Data Centre sector operates out of. This position will offer ongoing project support to ensure that teams are productive and capable of achieving project goals and deliverables, using new technologies and workflows, and will capture and document best practices on the implementation and use of BIM.

Responsibilities

Practice Technology related Research and Development
Provide BIM/REVIT® project kick-off leadership, including project execution planning, model setup, and team setup direction
Provide feedback and contribute throughout project delivery on model health and clash detection
Work with design consultant and contractor peers to allow the larger team to work successfully in a shared model.
Provide Autodesk REVIT® support including “over-the-shoulder” training and mentorship to staff.
Integration of REVIT® products with other applications
Establishing and supporting workflows related to:
BIM
Visualization
Reality Capture
Construction Administration
Computational Design
Content creation & management for both the Data Centre sector and large client programs
Qualifications

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
BIM end user education experience preferred
Autodesk REVIT ® and other suite included Autodesk software on large scale projects (required)
Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) experience (preferred)
ISO 19650 experience desired
Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit is encouraged.
Any additional experience in Newforma, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Python, Enscape, Twinmotion, Affinity, and/or Building Analysis tools preferred
