Business Analyst / Program Manager – Business Operations | London (Hybrid)

Location: London (onsite with flexible remote days to be agreed individually)
Type: 6 months contract (possible extension)
Pay rate - £43.75 per hour PAYE + 15% bonus

About the Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Program Manager to support the VP of the Global division in EMEA at a world-renowned global tech company.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of a fast-paced, high-impact environment, helping drive internal operations, strategic planning, and external engagement initiatives across EMEA. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams across Product and Business to ensure smooth execution and alignment of leadership priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership Support:
Coordinate leadership rhythms – set agendas, prepare pre-reads, capture notes, drive follow-ups
Orchestrate regional revenue-generating initiatives and strategic programs
Drive execution excellence for leadership meetings and business operations
External Engagement:
Prepare briefings and talking points for high-stakes external meetings with clients, agencies, media, and thought leaders
Draft strategic communications, presentations, and external correspondence
Develop clear narratives and compelling use cases for external audiences
Internal Communications:
Support internal communications initiatives, in collaboration with internal comms teams
Prepare content and flows for team meetings, leadership Q&As, and All-Hands sessions
Ensure alignment across regional teams and global functions
Business Insights & Analysis:
Conduct strategic market and business analysis to provide actionable insights
Synthesize customer feedback and internal data into leadership-ready insights
Manage knowledge sharing and thought leadership across the EMEA region

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Program Manager, Business Analyst, or Chief of Staff in a high-growth tech or digital environment
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across regions and time zones
Proficiency in developing executive-level presentations and reports

Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills:
Relevant Industry Experience – ideally in technology, digital media, or a fast-paced global organization
Program/Project Management Expertise – ability to manage cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
Strong Communication & Business Acumen – from writing polished briefs to driving alignment with internal teams

Essential Skills & Experience:Extensive hands-on experience with Akamai WAF (Kona Site Defender) in large-scale, regulated environments (preferably financial or insurance sectors). Deep knowledge of web application security principles, OWASP Top 10, and DDoS mitigation. Proficient in designing and tuning WAF rules, managing false positives, and integrating with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Strong understanding of network security architectures (firewalls, proxies, DNS, DMZ). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid deployments. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to insurance and financial services (e.g., Lloyd’s, PRA, FSA) is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Experience with Akamai APIs for automation and reporting is a plus. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
