What will you be doing?
The Data Leakage Prevention Squad comprises approximately 30 engineers, operators, and agile practitioners distributed globally. The
squad is responsible for the architecture, build, deployment and operation of the Firms global DLP infrastructure. The squad has a strong
Agile/DevOps culture and supports the Firms cloud-first strategy. The core aspect of this role is migrating security controls from on prem infrastructure to the cloud solution.
Responsibilities
This role is within a dynamic security engineering agile squad focused on Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and cloud adoption. Responsibilities include:
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality application using Python programming language.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain Python-based APIs and connectors.
Automating cloud and on-prem infrastructure processes to implement/enhance DLP controls.
Enhancing development practices within the squad including IaC, test automation, CI/CD, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional global team to identify and solve problems, working with an array of security products such as
Symantec DLP, Netskope, Proofpoint, MIP.
Working with a range of risk teams to understand and implement security requirements.
