Aim:
Define and support cloud infrastructure that underpins reliable, performant, and secure applications.
Evolve and enhance internal DevOps culture, tooling, and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously innovate and improve development workflows and system operations.
Foster observability and reliability across live systems through best-in-class monitoring and automation
Day to Day:
Collaborate with engineers and architects to define and implement cloud backend infrastructure.
Build and maintain cloud environments and deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Terraform.
Manage and monitor live client systems using tools like Datadog, New Relic, and Sentry.
Contribute to automated testing, security hardening, and CI/CD efficiency improvements.
Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
Continuously refine internal documentation and DevOps processes.
Research and introduce new tools and best practices aligned with our DevOps journey.

About you:
Extensive experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform, either in a commercial setting or private projects, with knowledge of alternative cloud providers such as AWS an advantage.
Comfortable with Linux based operating systems, able to edit, script and use the CLI
Familiar with Continuous Integration, Deployment Automation and writing pipelines using Github Actions
Strong experience using containerisation tools like Docker and docker compose
Hands-on knowledge of container management tools like Azure Container Apps/GCP Cloud Run.
Experience with GCP features such as Cloud IAM, Organisation Policy Service, Firebase Authentication, Identity Platform, Cloud KMS, Certificate Manager, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud CDN, pub/sub, Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run
